State Technological
Innovation Fund for
Scientific and Technological
SMEs (Innovation Fund)
is a special fund
approved by the State
Council in June 25,
1999, to support scientific
and technological
SMEs in forms of free
financial aid and
paying interest for
loan.
The total innovation
fund is RMB 1 billion
yuan each year. In
1999, 3 projects in
Guizhou province received
the innovation fund
aid of RMB 1 billion
yuan; and the project
of Guiyang Pharmaceutical
Co., Ltd was put under
the plan and got discount
of RMB 300,000 yuan
from the fund.
In 2000, four projects
in Guizhou province
got the aid from the
fund of RMB 2.7 million
yuan and three of
them were recommended
by Guiyang city amount
to RMB 2.1 million
yuan, and Guizhou
Hanfang Pharmaceutical
Co., Ltd, Guizhou
Xianling Medicine
Co., Ltd and Guizhou
Jiawang Science and
Technology Co. Ltd
received a discount
amount of RMB 850,000
yuan, a discount amount
of RMB 700,000 yuan
and an allocation
amount of RMB 550,000
yuan respectively
from the fund to support
their development.
Guizhou Linhai New
Material Co., Ltd
received an allocation
amount of 750,000
yuan for its project
that was one of the
projects in Guizhou
province with the
amount of 1.3 million
yuan supported by
the fund in 2001.
GYPPC has begun to
organize applying
issues from April
this year, and has
added a special webpage
of “the Innovation
Fund” for enterprises
on the Guiyang S&T
Information Net (http://www.gyppc.org)
in order to promote
their applying for
projects.
