Guiyang
Productivity Promotion
Center (GYPPC) was
established on November
8, 1998. It was appraised
as the national demonstrative
productivity promotion
center by the State
Ministry of Science
and Technology in
January 2000. It passed
ISO 9001:2000 quality
authentication in
May 2002. And in 2002,
it was selected by
the Ministry of Science
and Technology as
one of the first three
national pilots of
key productivity promotion
center construction.
GYPPC
is managed and operated
on a commercial basis
to serve the SMEs,
especially scientific
and technological
SMEs, depending on
the government and
facing the enterprises.
In the purpose of
importing, applying
and developing the
hi-tech project, according
to the needs of enterprises,
GYPPC carries out
all kinds of services,
such as technology
consultation, enterprise
diagnosis, applying
for S&T project,
evaluation and authentication
of S&T project,
patent agent, development
and popularization
of general technology,
information, training,
international cooperation
and communication,
venture investment
and guarantee, enterprise
and project incubation
and so on.
Now,
GYPPC is a comprehensive
S&T intermediate
organization with
perfect service facilities
and measures in Guizhou
Province, which possesses
more workers and technicians
in enterprise diagnosis,
technical consultation,
S&T training,
venture investment,
information consultation
and service, economic
management, project
application, patent
service, network construction,
etc. Up to now, GYPPC
has 70 staff members,
and 61 personnel have
the educational record
of over junior college,
among them there are
1 doctor, 4 masters
in study and 37 graduates
from regular college
or university. There
are 8558 m2 of floor
area, including 300
m2 of the technical
trade hall, 500 m2
of S&T training
center, 4230 m2 of
the S&T project
incubation building,
328 m2 of the venture
investment company,
2700 m2 of the software
park incubation building
and 500 m2 of others,
with the total assets
of RMB 89.04 million.
